Perfect day on the LoPro
#1
Had an unexpected day off yesterday so I decided to try out the Provo for the first time in a few months. Water was perfect, weather was perfect, fishing was perfect. Caught 8 or so and lost a handful in the few hours I was there. All of them were 11-14 inches, but fiesty and fun. Was catching them on everything...hopper, adams, midge, bob, hare's ear. I love this time of year!

Nice report. How many did you get on the hopper? I wouldn't have thought of trying that on the LoPro this time of year.

I hit the LoPro twice this week. The first time earlier this week, I had only a little time, but fishing was great. Got several in a really short time. I went back this afternoon and it was a lot slower. I got a few, but really had to work for them.

Action should steadily improve up there as the month progresses.

I wasn't really thinking hopper either until walking down the trail to get in. They were everywhere. I landed one and missed one on a size 12. Lost it shortly after and didn't have any luck on larger hoppers. Thankfully they weren't too picky and seemed willing to hit almost anything else [Smile]
