There will be a $15 entree fee again. The first 20 people to get their entry fee to iliketofish get in (did I mention there's LOTS of room left??). Also please include your actual name AND your BFT handle with your entry fee so I know who you are.
Here are the rules:

[left]1. The object of the game is to catch the most inches of fish. Only fish caught legally while ice fishing on public waters in the state of Idaho will be scored. Points will be awarded for up to 7 fish. Only one fish of each species will be scored. However you may upgrade and enter a larger individual of a previously scored species. A separate award will also be given for the longest individual fish caught.

[indent][left]- Up to 5 different game fish (see page 55 of the 2011-2012 Fishing Seasons and Rules book published by IDFG; except that panfish, will be scored separately). All cutthroat trout and cutthroat x rainbow hybrids will count as one species. All variations of rainbow trout (e.g. banana trout etc.) will be counted as one species. All species of whitefish will be counted as one species.

[left]- Up to 3 panfish. All crappie will be considered one species. All bluegill, sunfish, pumpkin seeds, and green sunfish will be counted as one species. So, you could enter 1 perch, 1 crappie, and 1 sunfish, for a total of up to 3 panfish.

[left]- Up to 1 non-game fish (e.g. sucker, carp, chub etc.).

[left]For example, the 7 species may be composed of 5 game fish, 1 non-game fish, and 1 panfish (probably the best combination). However other valid combinations would include 3 game fish, 3 panfish, and 1 non-game fish; or 4 game fish, and 3 pan fish; or 4 game fish, 2 pan fish, and 1 non-game fish etc….

[left]2. To get credit for a fish you must post the species of fish, date caught, name of lake, and the bait or lure used. You must also include a picture of the fish on the ground/ice next to a measuring tape with the numbers of the tape visible. [#ff4040]The year (2014 or 2015) must be somewhere in the picture too. The logo isn't required this year.[/#ff4040] Pictures of fish in the air next to a tape will not count. Large pictures are okay as it will aid in scoring. (see attached picture for example of a valid entry from another year)

[indent][left]NOTE: the better the picture, the more accurate score you will receive. If your fish moves or the tape is covered with snow etc. you may receive a score you don’t like, or the fish might not be eligible to be counted. Point being – take good clear pictures and everybody will be happy.

[left]4. You will only receive credit for fish that YOU caught, not your neighbor, buddy, kid, etc. Please be honest, this is after all just for fun.

Fish longer than 25 inches are eligible (and likely candidates) to win the longest fish contest, and their full measurement will be used for that.
