[font "Arial"][size 3]I just got off a long stretch and am finally getting to do a report, I fished from the 8th to the 22nd, which was my last day for the year.

With just a little time one evening, I went to one of my close spots and this is what happened. I think from the time we left the dock until the time we came back was right at 3 hours.

[/size][/font][font "Arial"][size 3]This was another one of those evening trips, the wind blew a little too hard this day to get a really good [url "http://www.rodnreel.com/gulffish/gulffish.asp?cmd=view&FishID=77"]trout[/url] bite but we did manage to limit on reds. BTW, this was a personal best for this angler.

[/size][/font][font "Arial"][size 3]I fished with these 2 guys for 2 days, and we pulled in some monster hauls of big trout and [url "http://www.rodnreel.com/gulffish/gulffish.asp?cmd=view&FishID=34"]redfish[/url]. We had well over a hundred trout in 2 days, and these weren't schooleys. These were solid 3-4lb. trout with several in the 4 1/2 lb. range. Nothing over 5 but real close and just solid fish. I stayed on these fish for the entire time I was down there.

Doubled up again

My angler hooks up on a big red, and I look to the front of the boat and see a trout pop. I start throwing a Voodoo under a cork, and immediately start slamming the big trout. I look to the back of the boat and this is what I see.

[/size][/font][font "Arial"][size 3]So I can't miss the photo op, and then I grab the Dexter and cut his line, hand him another rod and the 3 of us got on a mad trout bite that never really quit, I just couldn't fit anymore fish in the boat.[/size][/font]
