Eskimo Augers
#1
Fished Otter Yesterday and while pulling my Eskimo Auger back up through the hole the Mushroom handle falls off. Just bought the auger last year..
Finished up the day playing put the handle back on the Auger game.

New Handle is 23.99. The killer is that shipping to Cedar is about the same price..Almost the cost of the Auger in the First place.
Anyone have a line on Eskimo parts?
Just went ahead and Bought a Nils 8 inch and will use the Eskimo for a loaner if i can get a new handle or rig something.

I got one of those cheap Eskimo augers last year. The bolt broke and the bottom part of the auger is now on the bottom of pineview.I emailed Eskimo and they wouldnt stand behind their product. I now have the strike master mora and so far so good

Ya I had it happened to my mora that was 8 years old and fell thru the ice last year and the eskimo I bought last year handle popped off but didn't go down the lake but I sold that auger because I got a 6" clam and a 8" nils auger. I will never buy an eskimo auger ever again. One time I went ice fishing the the blade snapped in half while drilling through the hole [crazy].

I have a Eskimo hand auger that did that a few years ago. The mushroom top handle was a two piece assemble. I bought some marine appoxy for a couple bucks and glued the pieces back together. It has worked like a champ ever since.

Funny, the blade broke on my first trip after about 4 holes in 12 inches of ice..I thought it was a fluke..I guess not. Now with the knob broken I'm done with Eskimo

I hope the Nils works as claimed.

You'll love it. Just remember to be gentle with it, especially the blade area (don't set heavy things on it, etc.).
