Anyone ice fishing this? Seriously, there is water on both sides, ice can't be that thick and there is a shack and people out there! Better yet, an auger! Just cast to the open water! Be safe those of you who prefer to walk on water.

Ya my parents were up there today and said ice is coming off and for sure tons of hot spring pods eating up that lake. Possibly in 2 weeks that lake might be gone unless if we get a cold snap then it might just freeze up again.

YA, I was at Tibble running today and could not pass up the photo op. I will attach a picture. Our families worry about us on the ice due to reports of people falling through. I'm still waiting to hear a report of an "accident" up AF Canyon tonight.

Ha, I was up there at 5am dropping off a car to do a long ski tour from snowbird to Mill Canyon Peak and out AF canyon to Tibble yesterday and when we got down at 6pm we saw the ice tent in that pic.
I figured it was FFL but I don't see his car there in the lot.
BTW there were a ton of fish rising near mineral basin on the AF river. Might have to make a special fishing trip starting from snowbird to tibble to catch 'em all.

We watched a couple weeks ago as someone walked right up to the edge of the ice to cast a fly into the open water. My wife wanted me to stop and tell him to quit being such an idiot.
