Current conditions at Cascade.
#1
I haven't been able to get to Cascade for several weeks now. I'm hoping to head there this week end.

Are people still able to get ATV's on the ice at SL and Poison? Can a guy ride from either of those locations and get to SL Island or are the pressure ridges too bad for that?

Seems like the ice will be gone soon.

Check Tackle Tom's site. Just posted and says there is some open water by the ramps due to warm weather and sunny days, but still about 8" most places. More stress fractures and some are dangerous. Mike

Already checked his site. Latest report I see is 3-4 days old. That's pretty old when weather is like it's been.

I called him and talked to them yesterday. He said ice still at eight inches, guys still taking four wheelers out on, but the pressure ridges have dumped guys in the water and have had to get winched out. I was going to go up on Thursday and he said don't come. Supposed to rain up there all week and concern is the edges softening up. Guess I will stay around this area.
