Took the boat out fishin for the first time of the year saturday so i thought i would share. No ice to be found. Water temps between 38 to 40 degrees. Fished about 4 hours. Not a bite for the first two hours in one of the spots i normally fish. Water clarity was poor. Started moving around found some clearer water then started catching fish. Landed 8 bows all chunky and in the 2lb range between 3 of us in about two hours. There were quite a few boats around only saw one other fish besides ours that were landed. It felt good to be on the water again.
