Has Everyone Got their Fishing License this Year?
#1
Hey there guys,

Has everyone got their fishing licenses yet this year? If you don't fish till March anyway (lots of saltwater anglers), don't buy it!

Let the DFG see the low license numbers linked to the closures!! You can always go to the pay-to-fish lakes for a fishing fix before then!!! ha ha

The DFG had on-line license purchases before but that has been eliminated. Must be the cost reduction efforts by the DFG! ha ha That was a el reverso joke. That system was supposed to save 10's of thousands!!!

I went out and bought mine on Dec 29. I didn't wan't to be caught short handed on New Years Day. Didn't fish until the 2nd anyway and it was off a pier in Venice. Didn't need the license there but..............what if I would have decided to hit some little pond in Pasedena or anywhere. Even if I am a passenger in a vehicle. I still have my license just incase I need it.

There are only 2 piers listed in CA that require a license. 1 is in Northern Cali. It is called Trinidad Pier. The second is in San Diego County. It is called Crystal Pier.

None of the LA County Piers require a license.

Hey there DH_tubinjoe,

Ah....... to be young again. Think about this one..... if you buy your lifetime license+package BEFORE you're 16th birthday, it'll only cost the minimum! Youth and Seniors get a cheaper rate.

Look at the long term!!!!! You can still use the license even if you are no longer a California resident!!!
