[crazy] hit stravation trying to catch a walleye no luck but the little perch were nuts. i was trolling at 1.8 mph and could not keep the perch off. i was using a walleye rig and the little buggers were swallowing the whole worm and size 6 hook. but did manage some slimers. whats up with that?

Perch are perch. They attack a lot of different baits.
