High hopes of having another great outing were quickly put to rest after the first hour and a half we did not even have a bite. Not a bump, smell, tap...NOTHING! emoDoh Poor, poor and poor! Finally having one load up on a shakey I set the hook, doubled over my rod, only to get about two turns of the handle and she came off. This set the tone for the rest of the night for us. I did that two more times and James did it at least once. emoBang We did manage to get five in the boat with only one that would measure. A nice three pounder that was very lonely in the live well all by itself. We also had several hits only to have them drop it before we set the hook. emoScratch It was definitely a bust for us. emoRedface

Since we had already missed two tournaments with a fat zero in the points I told James we might as well weigh our one in to maintain our points.

The night belonged to Gary Hughes and Steve Norris who had three nice ones anchored by their big one just over eight pounds. She had swallowed the hook and had died so they had 15.75 lb but got hit with a half pound penalty, but still had enough for the win and big bass at 15.25 lbs. There were a couple good bags weighed in, me and James were not doing something right. emoGoofy Carter Day won the Friday night dog fight with an impressive 18.?? lbs. emoEek He too had big bass with that tournament with one going almost 8 and a half.

Congrats to both those teams for their respective wins. emoWorthy Jmax
