Put in at Harrison Bay at 6, wasted about an hour idling around trying to find something deep before finally deciding to fish some deeper grass edges, that was the ticket. Pulled up to our first spot and Tim catches one about four fished around there a while longer only catching a few more slicks. Headed up River to another spot before it got dark and they were there, but they were all two and a half pounders. We probably caught seven before moving on. After dark we pulled up to a spot I have been catching them the past few weeks we had one three and a half and a few more solid keepers before the storms hit. After waiting the storms out under a dock for an hour we headed back out. Pulled up to another grass line that has been producing some quality fish and right off started catching fish. We caught quite a few solid keeper before catching another three and a half. Just a few casts later I felt a tap and set the hook and it was a nice one at a little over five. After midnight the bite seemed to slow down quite a bit. All of our fish were caught on a t-rigged worm fishing grass lines is anywhere from ten to twelve fow. Our best five would weigh just shy of nineteen pounds, not great but a fun night on the water
