fishnaddiction, Chickamauga, Crappie., 8-30-15, son and grandson
#1
Haven't been fishing much at all this summer and my three year old grandson Warner wanted to go fishing in the boat. Looked at the weather and figured we could get a couple hours in before It started raining so we headed to the chick. We went to a dock that normally holds crappie. My son Tim tied a jig on Warners spiderman fishing rod. He would shoot under the dock, hand it to Warner and he would reel it in. He had a few taps but he, well, he still doesn't understand the setting the hook thing.... He's still in training. Lol.. We had 5 keepers when it started raining and we headed home. The dock is in 15' of water. Water temp was 80. We used Bobby Garlands, Outlaw Special. 1/32 jig head w/#2 hook. That spiderman rod does pretty good shooting docks....
