Good day at Anderson Ranch yesterday. I caught 5 Rainbows in about 3 hours including two like this one that were around 17 inches. I haven't had much luck up there over the past several years so it was nice to have a better fishing experience for a change.

Hey, way to go! Too bad you couldn't hook into one of the big chinook. The trout are also stirring at CJ. Mike

Wow, very nice. Beautiful fish. If you're willing to share, were you more toward the dam end or on the upper end?

I was fishing near the Curlew Creek boat ramp, from the bank. I did bring my small inflatable boat but the action was steady enough that I never made the effort to get it out of the truck and put some air in it.
What was kind of interesting was I started the day fishing in the river up near Featherville and never got a bite. I primarily stopped at Anderson on the way out just to hang out long enough to eat lunch but the fishing turned out to be much better than I was expecting.
