Took a run to valley county today. Veeeery thin layer of ice at boulder and sugar loaf.

13 degrees outside my camp at 6 pm . Supposed to get -5 tonight . Hope that makes ice at Henry's . If I could kill my elk I would get more excited about ice fishing .

Curt did you ever try the Flicker Shads this past summer? They still worked good on the walleye and wiper at Willard Bay. Caught a few nice trout trolling them at the Gorge along with a couple of big kokanee.

Yes I did this spring trolling for trout , caught some nice trout . Did better on #9 silver or gold panther martins .

Gosh I haven't used panther martins for years, I use to use the small black with orange or yellow spots years ago when I fished some of the small streams above Featherville. Brings back some good memories from the early 70's wading the streams with blue jeans and tennis shoes. [fishin]

The one with a yellow blade with red spots works great at Henry's lake .
