Any news on chesterfield? I'm going in the morning and wondering how thick the ice is and what they are hitting.

Last I heard you still had to walk in from the county road as the lake road was blowed shut.

This is still true. They have no plans of clearing the road. So unless you have a snow machine or a vehicle capable of driving through almoast 3 feet n of snow then your stuck walking into a reservoir that had a salvage on it 2 years ago. And still is full of planter size fish.

Went today. It was horrible! One bite. Very slushy. Water just boils out of the holes. The everything at them. Won't be going back.

The fishing at least a week ago was ok but not great. We were smaller fish than one is a accustomed to at Chesterfield. Has anyone found anything big on that lake yet? Our biggest is about 22". 12-14" seems to be the norm this year.
