I'll get you in the score card for 21.5 on that one. You might try placing the fish on your ruler at about the 1 inch mark and take your photo looking straight down. That fish looks to be longer, but I can really tell because of the angle and stuff. I'm thinking you may have robbed yourself of at least 1/2 inch. Maybe a whole inch.

Thanks for the tips. I took pics before I cleaned it and it was 22 or real close but you couldn't see the lines on my tape so back in the tent I took more pics and it seems like it shrunk I'm happy with 21.5 it was a great first fish for the season.

Got a Hybrid from Henry's 22.5". Caught on tungsten Jig tipped with meal worm 12/12/2015.. Looks like it will count as my cutthroat entry. It was awesome to keep upgrading the Cut out on Henry's. 2 of the fish I caught had lines and hooks they had broken off from previous anglers[Smile]. Really want to get a Brookie!

Your fish is backwards on the measure and not touching the end. It stretches a bit past the 22.5 mark, but with the fudge at the zero end it looks to be to be a bit short of the 22.5 round down rule. That's a great fish but with that picture I only see 22 inches. It would be easier to judge that fish in you had the head at the zero end and butted up against as it is designed to measure.

I think it is very close so I'm giving you the full 22.5, but it is easier to judge if you'll turn the fish around in future pictures.

Now, go catch a bigger one. [Wink]

Thanks for giving me the 22.5 as I'm trying to get this measuring and picture taking thing dialed in..

Congrats on your first Brown. I'm confident it won't be your last. I'm putting you down for 12.5 inches. I was thinking it was more than that, but I can't read the numbers. Too much ice on the hawg trough. Perhaps an image that is not compressed by photobucket would be more legible? Anyway, I trust your measurement. What I thought was a 15 must actually be a 12. I was going to give you 15.5. ;-)

Got you down for 25.5 on the Channel Cat. Nice work. I heard the fish aren't biting at Lowell this year. Thanks for proving everyone wrong.[Smile]

Just for your information, you've taken the lead spot. [Smile]

Photobucket has an arrow covering the tail on that fish. I can only see 14, but I suspect you have another .5 inch there that I cannot see. I suggest you resubmit that photo by uploading directly to BFT.
