I was at CJ on Saturday morning from first light until about noon. We caught 3 or 4 bass in the 3 + lb range before the sun broke over the mountain, then nothing worth talking about after that.

No perch, and no crappies in our boat or in the boat my brother was in.

I did see some perch being caught just off the airforce ramp and docks as we were leaving. Sonar indicated they were stacked right in the opening where boats were coming in and out. There were a few boats anchored off to the side partially blocking the entrance but you could still pass through (sort of). Several people sitting on the docks were casting out into that area in between boats and they were catching.

Sheriff was right there and did nothing about the folks partially blocking the entrance/exit. Kind of surprised me.......................Apparently rude behavior is not illegal. Go figure.......

Like hooknhunter, we fished it last week with terrible results. Graphed the perch, but they were lockjawed. Mike

There seemed to be plenty last fall around September or October time frame also. I have no idea where they are now. I'm sure there are still plenty around. Probably even some who know where................

Made it out to CJ Today.. wish i would have seen the bunk reports posted about the current fishing out there... It was pretty much a CJ Strike out for us. We marked fish and even got on top of what I believe was a decent school of Crappies this afternoon but they were not biting.
A Gill and A Perch. no Crappies.. and we saved the day bass fishing the shores of the narrows for smallmouth up to 15".

Lots of nice perch and bluegill on the drops in front of cottonwood. We were using perch meat in a dropshot rig with 2 hooks, sometimes lots of 2 at a time with lots of double hookups. Kept 92 of the bigger ones over 10 inches. Lots of nice bass early on cranks.
