Oldest son and I hit Benson Marina to in the hope of stocking up some cut carp bait. We both caught lots of mudders, several really nice healthy young channels, 2 mid size Carp that now reside in the bait box, one bigger Carp, and one contest worthy (for me anyway) Channel cat. [fishin]

Nicely done Tin-Can! I can't see the measurement in the pic, how big was that beast?
It's my opinion there are WAYYYY too many mud-cats and Carp in Cutler. What to do, what to do...

Ah, my cell phone camera, when I get back far enough to get the whole bump board in the shot, the tape numbers get blurred sometimes. I want to say that carp was 26 inches....? Maybe.
Not the biggest ever caught, but my biggest this year so far.

I took my son further down lake this evening, just bank tangling. You did better than we did. He caught two 8-9 inch smallies on a worm, while I had one good pickup with carp meat on a circle hook, and i pulled it away from him.
