Nice Lincoln cat
#1
A new member in the 30 inch cat club... Sadly, not me. Got a frantic call from g-son to let me know he had nailed a big cat that looked better than 30 inches. He was fishing with friends from shore when he caught this fish. I had spent the morning in my boat and caught nothing over the standard 24 inchers.

He called me at home to see if I would drive down to Lincoln with his BFT logo, our bump board, and my camera. Done.

Caught him on carp meat and made a successful release at the first spring. They caught several others but nothing as big as this old brute.

Sigh... first Tube Dude humiliates me and now my g-kids are putting the slam on me too. Undaunted, I will continue the hunt. There has to be a big one out there with my name on it.

Congrats to CatCarsen... he's a full blown cataholic.

[#0000FF]They say that heredity is what the parent of a gifted child believes in.

They also say that the true test of a good teacher is for the student to surpass the teacher.

But, if I were you, I'd be miffed too.

Nice fish.

Congrats to the kid! You are doing better than I. I haven't been able to get out much this year. Last time I went was last week but in Oakland. Skunked there as well.

That is awesome! I love the big Smile on his face, the grandkid I mean. Looks like I could learn a thing or 2 from him[Wink]

You found 3 in the 30 inch range last year, I have no doubt you'll find some this year too.
