Son and I fished Strawberry this morning and caught two, seen several at the cleaning station. No color yet but ours were quite soft]

I went up to Soldier creek side last Friday and it was kind of slow go. We fished at the opening of the narrows and went half way into the narrows.
Did not even get one bite of any kind in those narrows. At the opening
I landed 3 smaller kokes that were silver and lost a couple more.
It was that second fish of the day that went airborne and got off. It was nice and pink already and looked to be 4-5lbs. Oh well that kind of experience gets you to go back. We did also catch 2 smaller bows and a keeper Cutt. It was a keeper on the smaller side at 13 inches.
I am addicted to the fresh smoked Koke.
