While the women go shopping, I'm planning on going to the Strawberry mall for a close-out on Cutthroat and Rainbows!!!
I hear that they're having buy one get 3 free deal on all 24" Cutts and Rainbows...
Anyway, I'll be leaving Saratoga Springs at 6am and arriving when it opens, at the crack of dawn. Hope to see some of you out there..
I'm in a white 19' Aluminum StarCraft. Say "HI" if you see me... I'll be all over the place, so I'll probably see you somewhere...
I've just got to get out there at least one more time before it freezes over.

I will also be up there Friday morning with my boat. I am full or you could join us. It has been a tradition for the last 5 years, except I missed last year because I was on call for work. Its always a great time. Good luck to you.

Well, we did it !!! A couple friends and I hit the berry this morning and fished all day. We were off the water by 3pm after a very relaxing day of fishing..
Relaxing, because we hardly got any bites...
We did end up swapping a passenger with Old Coot.. For some reason, my friend caught 4 fish in about an hour on Old Coot's boat and we caught just 2 on my boat... Our boats were just 20 feet apart.
I'm convinced that Old Coot is truly the Fish Whisperer.. He just shows up and fish jump in his boat.. :-)
But in all seriousness, Old Coot has a very excellent methodology when it comes to fishing. His boat is well organized, his tackle is pristine, and his technique is awesome. He's just figured out a very successful way of getting those fish to get in his boat and sticks to his method.
I'm very impressed.
Anyway, I'd better scoot. If it warms up again, I might go back, but today may have been my last day on the berry until next year.. We'll see...
