Millsite Report
#1
We got a little break in the weather so a buddy and I fished Millsite today from our tubes. We fished the upper portion where the stream comes in from 9:30 until 3:00. We used both slow & fast sinking lines and woolly buggers in brown, leeches in Canada blood, plum, and olive on size 8 hooks. We picked up a few rainbows and cutthroats but no tigers or splake. The reservoir has not been stocked for a couple of years because of the work that is to be done on the dam so the fish that are in there are decent sized. The water temperature was 39 degrees and the visibility in the water of about 3' - 4'. The reservoir level is at 60% full.

The fishing was not fast but good enough to keep us from freezing up. There was I little ice on the upper end in the morning but it was gone by the time we left.
