So we got to mud creek at first light and found ice anywhere from 2 to 7 inches thick. It was super shallow everywhere there was good ice, we ended up fishing in 5 fow on 4 inches of ice. It was fairly warm and snowing hard, be careful if you fish there in the next couple days as we found some soft spots. We only marked a couple fish and had just one bite. It was great to hit the hard deck but we need colder temps.

The majority of the lake is wide open.

The road is closed, quite a bit of snow plowed up right at the turn to the marina.
