Gladiators @ Lost Creek
#1
Took a ride up to Lost Creek yesterday 1-13 and ran across a large herd of deer outside of Croydon. The big bucks were in command while smaller were cast as outsiders. As I drove in there were sporadic smaller numbers of deer with smaller bucks which I'm almost sure some of the other big boys were hidden away. As always the road conditions are well beyond worth driving on. Potholes were getting bigger with the harsh conditions of old man winter can offer. Snows are deep going all the way into LC. There is only a small area to park in at the top of the dam, not much room to turn around with other vehicles parked. Anyone towing a trailer with their toys won't be able to turn around at all. A truck hauling in a snowmobile should make out ok. Road across the dam not plowed. Lake is capped and could see some ice fishing.
