Nothing to brag about, but made my first trip of the year.<br /><br />Everything worked when I went, and everything still worked when I came home! Gonna be my year!!<br /><br />It took me a while, but I finally found the fish in a rather small area. I landed around 11 cats and a nice drum before I quit, most in the 6 to 12 pound range. The temp was great, but the wind was about 50% higher than forecast and right up the river. I had to use a goodly amount of power on the trolling motor just to move slowly downstream! Still, I had a great couple of hours. Now my skipjack stash is getting very low (and old) and I am going to have to get a fresh batch to freeze. Should be fun trip or two for bait.<br /><br />Found out what the cats have been feeding on - the pic below shows what they left me in the bottom of the boat.<br /><br />
