Ice Conditions Daniels and Chesterfield

Any reports out there on ice conditions at Chesterfield and Daniels?

My brother went to Daniels today and there was open water beyond what our 6' plank could handle. Devil's creek was better but still too wide for his comfort. Not sure if that's due to melting ice or rising water level below the ice

Fish Chesterfield yesterday, there was 20 plus inches of ice out from the ramp. Caught and released 11 with the biggest at 19 inches. Good day

i went 2/18/2017 the ice was still 20 inches and there were four wheelers and a razor on the ice. The boat dock edge was still firm, but had about 3 inches of water on top of the ice at the ramp. on the reservoir it had puddles in some spots but it was pretty dry on top of the ice. I caught about 10 fish. on a pink paddle bug and green jigs still. tipped with worm and also maggots worked. the bite was really light and if you werent at the pole when they hit they were gone. my biggest was 19inches. i also lost a dozen or so more.
