There is an official "Yuba State Park" page on Facebook that is updated pretty regularly with water and ice conditions, even has fishing reports. I believe the DNR ranger updates the page.

Those came from Scoffield. Caught last fall and frozen. Sportsmens in Provo sells them, but you can't always get the right size. Carp meat works as well, sometimes better. The carp can be caught out of Yuba then a piece of the meat used. good Luck.

Thank you, I caught a Pike down at yuba last year on a anchovie below a slip bobber. I like the looks of the minnow you was using looks more like a young carp. Tried some red shiners down there also with no luck. I like how you had the minnow rigged up. Thanks for the info. and tight lines my friend.
