Walleye fishing Boyd invite

Wish I lived closer, so I could take you up on your kind offer. Did you ever make it to that lake this Winter for some ice fishing or was that another lake you were talking about fishing this Winter?

Hey Curt. It's only a 7 hour drive. yea it's the same lake I ice fished this winter. Only caught rainbows ice fishing, couldn't find the perch. The white bass and crappie are stating to bite at the inlet at horse shoe lake. That's a lot of fun, it's about 1/4 mile walk from my house. There is also wipers, smallmouth and catfish in there..

Awesome, sounds a lot like Utah lake. I've been thinking about trying to get up that way for a few days this Summer, maybe we can work something out for a fishing trip.

It's a lot smaller then Utah lake but does have a lot of the same fish but no June suckers, lol. Yea you are welcome anytime.

I'm looking for a ice fishing partner for safety, if boyds fishable this year. You've probably seen me on the shore()or ice before.
If you or anyone else needs a partner for boyd let me know.

Yea, if Boyd freezes up like last year let’s hook up and hit it. I have a couple of GPS spots marked that should hold some fish all winter. I like to fish for walleyes mostly but still bass fish a lot. You can send me a pm and we can make some plans. Talk to you later.

Sounds good, definitely have to swap some Boyd tips/tales too.
Its not looking good in the immediate future or long range forecasts for the area. Its been roughly 10 degree higher highs and the lows have been 10-15 higher than last year. The winds been pretty bad too so hopefully the weathers just getting it out of its system for a good late ice season in the low lands. In the mean time theres pro-pilkki and plenty of open water to fish.
