On the water about 1:00 this afternoon. Hung around Dallas Bay till about 3. Caught 5 LM on the Rig in 17-20 ft of water. Strictly fishing where I mark fish on sonar. Largest just over 5#.

Decided to run over to Harrison Bay and prospect for striped bass. Lots of bait, but no go on the Stripers. Very windy and hard to fish. Ride back to Dallas Bay was rather challenging and wet.

Started with the rig again and caught couple decent fish in 20' of water. Still only fishing where I am marking fish on the sonar. Arm got tired throwing the rig so switchhed to a blade bait twitched along the bottom. That started to score very quickly. Nothing on bucktail or lipless crank. Nothing huge, but plenty of fish in the 3/4 # range. About 5:00 started to mark a lot of fish in about 17' of water off creek channel. It looked like a river of fish going by on the sonar/downscan. Picked up the rig again and they were on it heavy. Then large fish hit and put up a good fight, 8# channel cat emoBang that just crushed my rig.

A fun afternoon, ended with 12 pretty good keeper LM No pics today was by myself and too busy

Regards, Norman
