The storm came in last night and caused a lot more trash and dead eel grass to float around on the lake, and with the water being down "once again" this made fishing a lot of areas just "DANG DIFFICULT"! "BUT" we did manage to find a few areas that the floating grass wasn't so bad and were able to make a few clean casts and caught a few fish. The storm along with the cold front that's moving in will push a lot of fish back out on some of the deeper grass lines for a few days. There are a lot of fish that have already spawned out and moved back out to these deeper grass lines, and there are still some that are waiting to make the move to spawn. A lot of different baits are producing some quality fish in these areas such as 3/4-1 oz. Rat-L-Traps, Echo Crankbaits, 1/2 oz. Choo Choo Shakers, and 1/2-3/4 oz. Producer Swimbaits, and yes we used all of these this morning, we just forgot the "kitchen sink"! Have fun, Mike Carter
