Mike and I ran downriver to start, Mike has our first non keeper within 5 minutes of fishing. He is throwing a jerkbait, lands our first keeper. I get our second on a Sweet Beaver, in slack water. 8:30, and two largies in the box. Ran up and down several times . Mike puts our third keeper in the box, small spot. Later, Mike get an upgrade to our first spot, out goes the 12.5 incher. Spent the rest of the day looking for bigger fish. We managed to catch a couple of shad, a nice drum, a redeye and a stripe, plus several short fish. Finished with a run back to Riverpark through the sleet. Stayed pretty cold and windy all day, so much for the 5 mph in the forecast. Congrats to the winners, very nice bag. Thanks to the committee for another well run event.
