Well Dad and I went in to today with pretty low expectations. We had done a little pre-fishing down there and the fish were not where we thought the should be. So we decided we should fish where we had caught them in the past, and that proved to give us good numbers of Bass but NO size at all.

We got our limit early, about 9am, which was good, but throughout the day we never felt like it was going to happen. We had a few little mishaps along the way. Broke one off setting the hook, had a good head shake on a jerkbait that slipped, had a Brownfish go 17.999999999999999 inches lol, and Dad was getting a lot of bites on his jigs but couldn't connect with them all.

We had a great time and looking forward to the next one.

Congrats to everyone that braved the conditions today; and to those that finished in the money. Well Dunn....

Thanks to the committee.

Here is Dad with the fish that made it to the scales.
