What a difference a little "Sunshine" can make for a day of fishing on the "Big-G". Yesterday I had a 4 hr. trip that turned out to be tough with the cold winds, but we were still able to put a few fish in the boat with 3/4 oz. Rat-L Traps. Today I had a cancelation so I decided to get out and see if the Sunshine would turn the fish back on, and it did! I started out with Choo Choo Shakers in 4-6 ft. of grass and had a few to cooperate, but the colder temps had these fish sluggish. When I broke out the Producer Swimbait and moved out to the deeper grass in 8-10 ft. the fun got started. I was able to get several quality fish, and missed a few around the deeper grass. It seemed the cold front had pushed several back out into these areas, and they were "eating". This is some fun so get out and enjoy it. Mike Carter
