willard and inlet 3/15/17
#1
Had to go because of the nice weather. Launched at 4 pm went out to the rock piles and saw very little, just small fish about 4 to 8 ft under water in 18 ft of water. trolled for 2 hours nothing, water was 53 degrees wow still nothing was caught by about 8 boats. Saw five or six people on the shore but did not stay long. Went to the river inlet at the mouth to the bay. Grafted it for a long ways out and along the shore did not see much. So I parked in the river mouth at 20 feet deep and fished 2 more hours. saw very little on the graph mostly up shallow 5 feet. small stuff. It was dark when i left at 7:45, still one late comer that went out to the island.
No one was fishing the river inlet. Saw no walleye going up the channel.
Sorry no pictures . The hole evening was dead calm water surprise! Did get a small 14 inch wiper, but I contributed to the riffraff, Let my I phone in 5 ft of water at the south marina next to the east boat dock.[frown]
It was a beautiful evening , Can not figure where they are hanging out.
