I AM THINKING OF ATTEMPTING TO ICE FISH, I WANT TO BE CLOSE TO HOME WHEN I GO....SO DEER OR JORDAN ARE BEST BETS, ANYONE HAD ANY SUCESS LATELY? I THINK WALLEYES THROUGH THE ICE SOUNDS FUN, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE I NEED TO GET MY BUTT UP TO HOOKED FIRST AND GET SOME BOOGERS ARE THOSE BUBBLE PACKED OR ARE THEY IN A STYRO THING LIKE WORMS??? LOL. SORRY, BUT ANY NEWS WOULD BE HELPFUL, AND AS ALWAYS, THANKS IN ADVANCE.

We fished Deer Creek on sat straight out from the island about 40 yards from the open water in about 9-11 feet deep. Caught 4 bows and 1 brown in a few hours. See the post about "the storm faked me out" from sat. Good luck

I fish Jordonelle sat we fished in forty feet of water. we came in at rockcliff and fished the so. side of the bay. caught probably 15 trout and 20 perch in 3 hrs.
