Here is a satellite picture from Tuesday. Quite a bit still on it then.

Too much cloud cover since then.

there was a photo on face book with a guy holding two from the bank. it looked like there was a lot of ice but where he was fishing there seemed to be open water for 30 or so feet out from the bank.

They posted yesterday's satellite picture. PaliSades is a bit obscured by clouds, but it does look mostly clear now. The north half or dam end might not be, but the inlet half probably is.

Was at paliSades April 1, yes there is still ice at calamity and snow at the bottom of the ramp. The ice is very slushy that is floating around the lake. My wife and I fished off the bank at Blowout, and the fishing was great! We did not get up there until 0930am, fished with a worm, corn, and marshmallow, chub meat. We ended up catching between 15 to 20 fish, two cuts that were around 3 1/2lbs and one brown that was 4lbs. Most of the other fish were 1lb to 2lbs. There were two small boats on the lake, they had put in at Indian Creek. All in all my wife kicked my butt fishing this time. [fishon]
