Willard 4/11
#1
Fished Willard last nite, beautiful nite. Biggest I caught was an nice 23" male walleye jigging the rocks. Lost a bunch of jigs, but bites were light and far in between. Drowned a few things hoping to pick something up with no success, I would guess the next few days will really warm up the water and they will be more agressive.

Sounds like a peaceful evening. Thanks for the report.

Nice job, I'm glad to hear your getting into them! I have yet to fish the rocks for them, used to low water last few years. I need to get out their and give it a try. I could use some peaceful time in the moonlight, regardless if I catch them or not. I'll be honest, after my acl surgery last fall, climbing around on rocks at night does worry me a little [Wink]

Is "the rocks" a specific place at Willard or is it just you fished rocks along the dike?

Im referring to rocks on the dikes. I like to fish where there is a slight change, be it angle, depth, change in features or wind direction.
