Jordanelle 4/14/17 Almost all brown
#1
Fished Jordanelle yesterday with my neighbor. Checked out the Rock Cliff side and found brown water out a long ways from the Provo River. It appeared that the water would need to raise approximately another 20' in elevation to reach the boat ramp.

Fished several areas and even did some trolling. We only landed six fish, but what was really surprising was 5 of the 6 were brown trout. Apparently, the browns are doing well. The largest was 19".

I will post a couple photos after awhile.

Fun day with my neighbor, who is pretty much a newbie at fishing.

I was up there today around 3-7 pm and manage 2 brown. Couldn't find them on my fish finder so I just used sinking line and trolled around till something smacked my line 17-19".

Thanks for the report. Was the water at Rock Cliffs too muddy to fish? Was thinking of heading up there this afternoon.

That's funny we were there Friday also and we were hoping for Browns and only caught rainbows. It was a slow day for us only 4 but the size was up. Are biggest was a 18" bow. I think I saw you in that area but we didn't come in as far as you.
