Willard 4/20
#1
I had a few moments and decided to hit Willard for a few hours in the rain. Caught one wiper drowning mussels and a 18lb carp on a moving scatter rap. Weirdest thing ever, not foul hooked but right is his suction cup kisser, will make good kitty bait here soon.

Carp will hit lures - and flies. I've caught several on crankbaits, and not foul-hooked either.

Flies I can understand, I have caught a few that slurped them off bottom, but this was open water and i was really cranking for the first 10 yards it get it down. Its a fairly large bait, and he had it halfway down, just really suprised... when I felt the weight I was thinking state record wiper.

That's great! I had one hit a Rainbow Rapala while trolling last year at Willard also.
