Willard today
#1
Went to Willard today ended up with 3 wipers and 3 other fish get off before we could get the planar boards in. Lots of boats and lots of marks surprised that's all we got to bite.

Glad you got on a few! We were only out for a few hours this morning and couldn't get the wipers to bite. But we had a monster crappie hit a rapala so we switched to crappie gear and ended up with 2 decent kitties and no more crappie...lol. I think we need a few more degreese of water temp to get them going.

Here is the jumbo crappie pic, would have looked a lot bigger if he was using proper fish picture techniques like holding it a full arms length away from his body...lol

All three were wipers. And pretty sure the ones that got off were wipers with how hard they hit the planar boards. Tried about 45 minutes of bottom bouncing we were marking a lot of fish on the bottom but no one was interested

Fished the flat south of the south marina yesterday afternoon. One wiper kept the Skunk at bay. Caught as I went over the top of the rock pile on a blue/chrome crank.
