Deer Creek Report from Friday
#1
Me and my buddy hit DC on Friday and the weather was pretty nice, sunshine, snow and light wind. We launched the boat at 9:00 am then trolled near the dam and hit the west side up towards the north end of the lake... NOT a single hit - we trolled with rapalas all types to see what he fish were hungry for, nothing! Then we got up to the north end and put on a pointer rainbow lure on the line and they smack the heck out of it the rest of the day. I pulled in about 13 nice size rainbows ( catch & release) and the fish finder was marking tons of fish. The boat pulled in about 17 that day and we left the water at 3:00 PM. The great thing about the day was no wind the whole day! It was a good warm up as we are waiting for the berry to thaw out!

Happy Fishing!
