Fishing at North Marina Saturday, fun.
#1
Got to meet some nice folks while fishing at the North Marina Saturday. Howdy to Wiperhunter 2. I caught a nice wiper and a bullhead that same day. Weather was nice till 1545 then the wind came up. More trips to come, next time we'll bring the boat.

Picture of waves on Saturday at 3:43 P.M. It did get windy and then calm and the winds reversed to give me long casts out.

I saw lots of Carp 2 to 6 feet from shore - yellow color.

I've seen that spot before --- on the coast of California.

Hey Brah. Howzit? I had a look at your porfile and see you're a Big Inland Boy. I too am a transplant from Hilo I left home many years ago. Most of the Ohana have passed or moved. Still get one Sister in Honolulu. Maybe next time we can talk story.

wow looks like it really turned to crap.
Nice to meet you Ron. To bad your Surfcasting contest didn't kick off well. guess we're just a little to far inland to spark much interest. I could have won that one. (Ha ha). Sorry bout your practice plug snapping off I think the main line might have been a little too light.

Howzit Ahi1953,
Small world isn't it. We'll be back down to Willard N. Marina today and maybe tomorrow to have a go at the fish again.
So you're from the island also. I'm from the homestead area of Hilo by Kai store. Be nice to meet up with you and talk stories. Send me a message and maybe we can talk on the phone? a hui hou,
Moki
