2nd To wanting a report... thinking of heading over next friday (19th) and spending the night. Anyone?

Also, Anyone know how to contact any of the dock/boat house people to rent something for a night? Just wanting to find a place to tie up a boat and sleep on the dock in a sleeping bag for a night. Thanks!

Was at Woodhead last weekend, did not fish Brownlee, but did fish Oxbow. Had to launch at last ramp on Oregon side. Small mouth very active, used deep diving craw colored cranks, was a blast. Crappie also thick in spots. Down stream side of Carters Landing was loaded, people also catching them from bank there next to road.

Brownlee was low, just the old boat ramp was open, but I believe the main ramp is good now. Fish cleaning station were loaded with fish daily.

Fished brownlee last Friday evening and Saturday morning. Did well with crappie and caught several on bass gear. Several small mouth - most were small with a few over 12" and one over 16". Crappie were larger on average it seemed than in previous years. Went home with 319 - enough to fill the freezer for the year and get my fill of cleaning fish. Most crappie were close to the bank between 0-15 feet deep. Also caught about 8-9 perch.

Will return on Sunday with a bigger focus on Bass.
