What is summer fishing like at dock at Saratoga Springs Marina?

What is the fishing like fishing from the docks at Saratoga Springs Marina in the middle of the summer time? Seems like I heard you could catch a bunch of blue gill and white bass?

I want to be able to take my kids there and get some fish, even if they are small

Fyi.
The Saratoga Springs Marina Park boat ramp is closed due to a dredging project. Time length of closure is still to be determined.
The docks are detached from their pilings, bundled up next to the jetty, and are out of service.
As a friendly reminder is is illegal to fish off the docks anyway.

The marina is basically still closed for the dredging of the harbor, although they're letting people park in the lot and fish nearby. The docks themselves are not even in the water.

Oh, I did not know it was illegal to fish off of docks. Is it just the Saratoga Springs one or all of them there. Is this guy being illegal then?
