My boy and I caught 20 Crappie and 8 Perch Saturday fishing brush piles. Some bites were really subtle and others slammed the jig. All the Crappie were 9-11 in and dark males. We kept 10 Crappie and got off the lake around 2 when it got super crowded.

Went up there today between 11 and 5, covered probably half the lake and didn't get a bite. Was going for bass. I saw some massive musky though, had one follow but no takers.

Was there late Friday night. The crappie bite was hot. The bass were biting too.
