The DWR planted a bunch of BIG fish in our local pond a few weeks ago. I think the ones that loved powerbait were caught within the first couple of days. After two weeks in the pond, the big fish go to the kid with an alarm clock, a bike, a fly rod and woolly bugger. The big one was 6.5 pounds. All of them caught before dad got out of bed.

Yeah I live near that pond too. I had one of the local 12-year-olds telling me how fun it was to catch them on his fly rod.

Good on the DWR for dropping some real memories into that pond!
