anyone know of any websights that have information about different knots. I am looking specificaly for spiderwire.

The spiderwire web site suggests that you use the Palomar knot. Here is a link where they talk about knots

ok guys thanks what about tying spider to a leader?
any suggestions i tried the polimer and it worked good

The knot I use for tying leader to Fireline is the Double-Uni, sometimes called the Back-to-Back Uni Knot. I understand that it works fine with Spiderwire as well. I saw it listed on http://www.netknots.com/html/fishing_knots.html

It looks like everybody else already covered the topic. Did you also know you can get plastic knot cards in a set that you can keep in your tackle box? They are informative and fun when the fishing is slow.
