my son in law caught this up at echo this morning didint know there was walleye in there ?

Not only are they in there, but the UDWR planted roughly 100,000 sterile Walleyes to possibly thwart any natural reproduction.

Looks like they were stocked at 1/4" average length. How long does it take a walleye to reach 12"? (guess is fine for my curiosity, I realize it depends on the lake)

I was looking at the stocking report as well. My rule of thumb was about 3 years to hit 12". I think they'll grow a little faster than normal due to being sterilized. I should also state that I'm not a biologist. Looking at the picture it may be safe to assume that this walleye was one of the original bad guys.
