Lincoln Beach and toxic algae

I have recently started to bow fish for carp around the lincoln beach area. I normally just put on swim trunks and wade in. But with all the toxic algae posts on the news recently I am a little hesitant to go back out this week. Is it safe to keep wading in to fish? Am I going to get sick from it?

All this bad press abou the algae bloom is nonsense and over reaction by the media
I was at UL all day from 8 to 5. All over the lake and saw ZERO algae. I did see many fishermen wading, water skiers, wake boarders and so forth.
For the time being there is no reason to be alarmed, Fox News and the Provo Herald ruined a lot of peoples week end for no reason.
