My dad and I fished Allatoona Tuesday evening for a little tournament they have every week. It goes from 5 to 9 pm and we were off the lake at 8:30 pm. <br />We caught two bass all night, one on a small Whopper Plopper one on a buzz bait and that was right at dark. We found fish schooling, but they would only come up for a few seconds, then they would be down again. I did get one to hit a medium sized soft swimbait about 5 times on one cast and it followed it all the way in to the boat, but it never got the bait. <br />They had dropped the lake about 3/4 of a foot overnight and the fish seemed to move out off the banks back to deeper water. <br />Not sure what won the tourney, we left way before weigh in.
